From start to finish, we will teach you all the safety aspects of cold process soapmaking, the equipment you will need, and give you our base recipe formulation. This is the same recipe all of our handcrafted soaps start with-made with a mighty five blend of organic oils and raw, unrefined shea butter. So as not to overwhelm, we will filter this information to you over one week, and you can make your first batch as soon as you feel comfortable and ready to do so. Should you wish to start your own business, we will also advise on the legalities and regulations for the UK, help with what your labels should include, guide you on creating batch numbers and PIP files. once you have made your first batch of soap, you will then receive a certificate from The Dark Island Soap Co. which you are welcome to display and share.
